Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Chunky Cat Creations (Chunky Cat LLC, an Ohio limited liability company) collects when you shop at chunkycatcreations.com, and how it's used.

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email address, shipping address, the items and options you choose, and your order totals.
• Payment details: you pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. Your card number goes to Stripe, not to us; we only see the payment status and basic details such as the card brand and last four digits. Stripe's own privacy policy covers its checkout page.
• When you email us: your email address and what you write.
• At shows: card payments are taken through Stripe. If you ask for an emailed receipt, Stripe uses the email address you give.
• Your cart: saved in your own browser (local storage) so it survives a refresh. It isn't sent to us until you check out. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

How we use it

• To make, ship and support your order, and to answer your questions.
• To send order-related emails, such as payment receipts from Stripe and replies about your order.
• To keep the records the law requires, such as sales tax records.

We don't sell your information or use it for advertising, and we don't send marketing email without your permission.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run the shop, and only what each one needs:

• Stripe, to take payments and send receipts.
• USPS and our shipping-label service, to deliver your order.
• Our hosting and database providers (Cloudflare, Render, Neon), which store the site and order records.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for your order, returns, and our tax and accounting records, generally several years as tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing orders@chunkycatcreations.com. We'll delete what we're not required to keep.

Children

Our shop isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes
